The Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) is a world leader in marine research. AIMS has the expertise and capability to explore and examine the marine environment through studies ranging from regional ship-based investigations to state-of-the-art microbial and molecular analyses. It was established in 1972 and has its headquarters at a picturesque site on Cape Ferguson, 50 km south of Townsville.

Glynntucker was responsible for the structural design and documentation of the Biotechnology Wing, incorporating new laboratory and office space. Our commission also included upgrading the main entrance and reception area to a standard commensurate with the world class reputation the facility has earned.
